Founded in 1929, we field Senior and Junior teams in the Mornington Peninsula Cricket Association (MPCA) with a level of play to suit all cricket enthusiasts from social to experienced & competitive cricketers and pride ourselves on being a family club.
Our home is at Baxter Park in the City of Frankston, a 45 hectare reserve with six ovals, facilitating cricket, football and soccer, as well as tennis, archery, an equestrian pony club, free range dog walking, a children’s playground and walking tracks.
Throughout our history we have produced many talented cricketers who have gone on to compete in higher levels of representative cricket, including current captain-coach Daniel Warwick, who captains the MPCA’s VCCL country week team and former Australian test and one day international opening bowler Brad Williams. We also fostered dual Brownlow medallist Robert Harvey and Socceroo Bailey Wright, who both played junior cricket with Baxter before going on to represent their chosen sport at the highest possible level.
At Baxter Cricket Club we place a strong emphasis on our values of Belief, Character and Commitment. We are very proud of our achievements and the hard work of a lot of people connected with the club, which has led to both off-field and on-field success. Since 1960 we have won 50 premierships (35 senior and 15 junior).
